Audi owners come to us for one upgrade more than any other: the flat-bottom wheel with the long aluminium paddle shifters that Audi normally reserves for the RS cars. We build it around an Audi core, so the airbag, the MMI buttons and the horn behave exactly as they did before.

We cover the A3 family in 8L, 8P, 8V and 8Y form including S3 and RS3; the A4 across B5 to B9; the A5, S5 and RS5; the A6 from C4 to C8; the A7; the A8 from D2 to D5; the Q5 and Q7; the TT in 8N, 8J and 8S form; and the R8. Each platform has its own airbag and connector, so the core follows your car.

A typical Audi build is a perforated leather or Alcantara rim with a flat bottom, silver or black stitching and a 12 o'clock stripe. Carbon fibre is popular on RS-style builds, and the paddle shifters can be upgraded to the longer aluminium versions.

Audi's round airbag differs between the A3/A4/A5/A6 group and the R8, and the clock spring changed with the facelifts. Send us a photo of your current wheel and your VIN and we will confirm which core your car needs before anything is made.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I have the RS-style flat bottom on a standard A4 or A6?

Yes. The flat-bottom rim uses the same core and controls as the round wheel, so it can be fitted to non-RS cars. The paddle shifters and airbag from your car are reused.

Will the MMI controls still work after the swap?

Yes. We build around the correct Audi core for your platform, so the multi-function buttons, the scroll wheels and the horn keep their factory functions and wiring.

Do I keep my original airbag?

On most platforms we reuse your original airbag and clock spring. The R8 uses a different airbag from the A3/A4/A5/A6 group, so tell us which car you have when you enquire.

Do you offer the long aluminium paddle shifters?

Yes, they can be included on DSG cars and replace the standard plastic paddles. On manual cars there are no paddles to fit.

Which Audi platforms do you cover?

A3 8L/8P/8V/8Y, A4 B5-B9, A5/S5/RS5, A6 C4-C8, A7, A8 D2-D5, Q5, Q7, TT 8N/8J/8S and R8. If yours is not listed, send a photo and we will check the core.

Can you match the stitching to my interior?

Yes. We offer silver, black, red and other stitch colours, and the 12 o'clock stripe can be matched or left off entirely.
